Privacy Policy

LOCK TF IN is built to keep your data on your device. This policy covers the iOS app and its widgets.

What We Collect

Nothing, with one narrow exception. LOCK TF IN has no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. The only data that ever reaches a server of ours is Pro cloud-coach traffic — described in "Cloud AI (Pro)" below — and we do not store it.

Where Your Data Lives

• Workout logs, streaks, profile details (including your call sign, gender tag, and theme choice), and achievements are stored on your device and in the app's private app-group container so its widgets can read them.
• If you enable iCloud device backups, Apple may include the app's data in your encrypted device backup like any other app. We never see it.

Optional AI Coach (Bring Your Own Key)

If you paste your own Anthropic API key into CONFIG → AI BRAIN, chat messages you send to the coach are transmitted to Anthropic to generate replies, under Anthropic's privacy policy. Your key is stored in the iOS Keychain and never leaves your device except to call Anthropic directly. Your key traffic never touches our servers. Without a key, Pro subscribers use the cloud coach described below; on the free tier the coach runs entirely on-device (Apple Intelligence) or from canned lines — nothing is transmitted.

Cloud AI (Pro)

If you subscribe to Pro and have not added your own key, chat messages you send to the coach — along with a small amount of workout context (streak, recent sessions, your call sign and intensity settings) — are sent to our Cloudflare Worker and relayed to an AI model provider to generate replies.

• We do not store message content. Messages pass through the Worker to produce a reply and are not retained.
• Usage counters only. To enforce the Pro usage allowance, the Worker keeps small counters keyed to a pseudonymous Apple subscription identifier (not your name, email, or Apple ID). Counters expire automatically within about 35 days.
• Bring your own key skips our server entirely. BYOK traffic goes directly from your device to Anthropic with your own key, as described above.
• The free tier never touches the cloud. All free-tier AI runs on-device or from the built-in library — nothing leaves the device.

Subscriptions

Purchases and subscription status are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). We receive no payment details and store no purchase information beyond the entitlement Apple reports to the app on-device.

Notifications

Reminders and rest-timer alerts are scheduled locally on your device. No push-notification server is involved.

Data Deletion

CONFIG → DANGER ZONE → wipe erases everything the app stores, immediately and permanently. Deleting the app does the same.

Children

LOCK TF IN contains frequent strong language by design and is not directed at children.
